Goal
This guide will walk you through the two methods for accessing the resident portal for the first time:
When your account is created on your behalf by a building or strata manager (most common), and
When you register yourself using a community site code (less common).
Video Guide
Method 1: Accessing via Welcome Email (Most Common)
Step 1 - Check for a Welcome Email
If your account has been created by a building or strata manager, you will receive a welcome email. This email is valid for seven days. If it expires, contact your building manager to request a new one.
Step 2 - Open the Welcome Email
The email may include different branding depending on your building, but will contain a link that says Activate your account here.
Step 3 - Set Your Password
Click the activation link and follow the prompts to create your password. Your password must include:
At least 8 characters
An uppercase and lowercase letter
One number
One special character
You will also need to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Step 4 - Log In to the Portal
After setting your password, you will be redirected to the resident portal. Log in using your email and new password.
Step 5 - Select Your Community
If your account is linked to more than one property or building, you’ll be asked to select the relevant community before accessing the portal.
Method 2: Self-Registering via Community Code (Less Common)
Step 1 - Locate the Community Code
If you're asked to self-register (commonly renters or tenants), you’ll need a community code. This code is usually found on a flyer in your building or can be requested from the building manager.
Step 2 - Go to the Registration Page
Visit the resident portal in your browser or app and click Register.
Step 3 - Enter the Community Code
Enter the provided code and click Verify. Confirm that the displayed building matches your location.
Step 4 - Enter Your Details
Complete the form with your personal information. A verification code will be sent to your email.
Step 5 - Confirm and Submit
After verifying your email, set your password and enter your lot and unit information. Submit the registration for approval.
Step 6 - Wait for Approval
An admin will review your application. Once approved, you can log in using the email and password you created.
Downloading the Mobile App
Step 1 - Find the Correct App
The welcome email or your Strata/Building manager will advise which version of the app to download. There are multiple Resvu-branded apps, so confirm the correct one before proceeding.
Step 2 - Download from App Stores
You can download the app using the links provided in your welcome email, or by visiting:
Apple App Store
Google Play Store
Note: Android devices must be using Android OS 14 or higher due to Google’s restrictions. If your device isn’t compatible, access the portal through a web browser instead.
Step 3 - Log In on the App
Use the email and password you created to log in to the app. The app and browser experiences are identical.
